Senses

A work of art is a world in itself reflecting senses and emotions of the artist’s world.
— Hans Hofmann

"Senses" is set to explore the 5 human senses and beyond. In recent years, there has been a re-discovery of the importance of sensory experience in our daily lives. The senses play a vital role in our health, in our social interactions, and in enjoying food, music and the arts. In a recent study it has been proven that interaction with the environment is critical to the development of the senses. Experience not only fosters biological development, it is necessary for learning how to interpret the information the biological mechanisms give us. As artists we are constantly relying on our senses. We hear the music, we interpret what we see and we perceive our partners touch as a queue to go on.
