Jennie Pappas

Biography

Jennie began dancing at the age of two taking a mom and daughter ballet class! She trained intensively in Russian Classical ballet, jazz, tap, acro, contemporary, lyrical, modern, and partnering. As a teen, she worked as an assistant to Stacey Tookey and Mia Michaels at "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" (CTV). She was thrilled to have travelled to Nashville, Tenenessee to choreograph and star in the music video for Taylor Matthews' hit song, "Heart on Fire". In 2015, Jennie dance in the Pan Am Games Closing Ceremonies and Para Pan Am Games Opening Ceremonies under the direction of Paul Beacker and Jeff Dimitriou. Jennie is most known for her role as "Chloe" on Family Channel's "The Next Step" which airs in Canada, the UK, Australia, and the United States. She is honoured to be apart of the On the Floor faculty as both a teacher and a competition judge. Through On the Floor, Jennie has had the opportunity to participate in several different fundraising events, all of which have raised $75,000 dollars in support of SickKids Hospital in Toronto. Currently, Jennie is pursuing her career as a dance teacher, as well as working as a Manager at Millennium Dance Complex Toronto.
